How to mine Ethereum with GPU and CPU? ETH Mining Guide.

Date: 06-14-2017
Hello, I've finaly decided to make a guide for Ethereum (ETH) mining. You can mine Ethereum with you graphic card (GPU) or processor (CPU), but mining with GPU is way more profitable. All you need to start mining Ethereum is any GPU with 2 GB RAM (or more) or any CPU.

Ethereum mining pools:

First of all you need to choose what mining pool you will use. There are few popular mining pools for Ethereum right now:

Choose any pool you like and register (eth.pp.ua do not require registration).

Ethereum mining software:

Next you'll need to download mining software. There are also few different mining programs:

For AMD video cards download - opeclminer.zip.
For Nvidia video cards download - cudaminer.zip.

Ethereum mining settings:

And the last thing you need to do is to configurate your mining program. To do that - find the ".bat" file in the folder of the mining program you've downloaded and edit it:

a) eth.suprnova.cc mining pool:
Settings for OpenCLMiner: ethminer -G -F http://eth-mine.suprnova.cc:3000/user/X
Settings for CUDAMiner: ethminer -U http://eth-mine.suprnova.cc:3000/user/X
Settings for CPU mining: ethminer -C -F http://eth-mine.suprnova.cc:3000/user/X

Instead of user - set your username, and instead of X set your password you've used to register and mining pool.

b) www2.coinmine.pl/eth/ mining pool:
Settings for OpenCLMiner: ethminer --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/user.1:X
Settings for CUDAMiner: ethminer --farm-recheck 200 -U --gpu-batch-size 20 -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/user.1:x
Settings for CPU mining: ethminer --farm-recheck 200 -C -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/user.1:x

Instead of user - set your username, and instead of X set your password you've used to register and mining pool.

c) eth.pp.ua mining pool:
ethminer -G -F http://pool.eth.pp.ua/?miner=[HASHRATE IN MHASH]@[ADDRESS]

Instead of [HASHRATE IN MHASH] set your hashreate, and instead of [ADDRESS] ser address of your Ethereum wallet.

Save the changes and run the ".bat" file you've just configurated. If everything "OK" you'll see the start of the mining proccess. Your mining statistics you can find one the site of the mining pool you work with.
